Telops Awarded Contract

Telops Inc., a Quebec City supplier of IR cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems, has been awarded a $1.6 million contract by SpecTIR LLC of Reno, Nev. It includes the initial delivery of two Hyper-Cams Fourier transform IR hyperspectral imagers. Telops said the technology will support SpecTIR’s efforts to bring remote sensing applications to a higher level and help conduct hyperspectral remote sensing missions. The sensors will be integrated by SpecTIR in a system for the US government, with a mission for standoff detection and identification of targets for data collection.
