Tim Spang, Sean Stetson Join Seegrid

Robotics company Seegrid has announced the addition of two industry veterans to its operations and product teams.

Tim Spang has been appointed vice president of operations, and Sean Stetson has been appointed director of product development.

Spang most recently served as the director of Pittsburgh operations for Haemonetics Corp., a blood processing technology provider. He received his master’s degree in finance and international management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.

“Our team will ensure that Seegrid continues to advance within the growing industry segment created by our vision-guided vehicles,” Spang said. “Seegrid’s commitment to expand its production capabilities is a testament to the increasing demand for vision-guided vehicles as the optimal solution for industrial automation.”

Stetson joins Seegrid from Google, where he served as the director for mobile imaging in the advanced technology and projects division.

“I am enthusiastic about joining this expert team and eager to continue developing products with a human sense of space that challenge how the market approaches automation,” said Stetson.

Seegrid is a developer of 3D vision navigation and automation technology.
