Toptica Opens Tokyo Office

Laser developer Toptica Photonics AG has opened an office for sales, marketing and service in Tokyo.

The office will start operation in September. “Japan always had strategic importance for us due to the high density of high tech industries and academic research centers,” said Thomas Renner, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Toptica Photonics. “We purchase many of our strategic components in Japan and also have close contacts to Japanese leading worldwide scientific and technology experts.”

Toptica Photonics is a manufacturer of single-frequency diode lasers and ultrafast fiber lasers for the quantum technologies, biophotonic, microscopy, industrial metrology and terahertz technologies markets.
