Tower Semiconductor Ltd. of Migdal Haemek, Israel, has formed a partnership with SuperPix Micro Technology Co. Ltd. of Beijing to produce two imaging products: a 2-megapixel UXGA sensor and a VGA device. The products initially will be used in cameras for cell phones and smart phones to be sold in China. The companies expect to eventually expand sales internationally.
