Jorge Unda, managing director of the engineering and construction area of engineering and technology provider SENER Group, has been appointed CEO of the entire entity. Unda replaces Jorge Sendagorta, who previously served as president and CEO. Unda becomes the top executive of the company, and Sendagorta remains president of SENER’s board of directors. Unda joined SENER in 1986 as a project engineer and subsequently became a progect manager in the aerospace field. In 1997 he was appointed deputy managing director and then managing director in 1998. “I am thrilled to lead the SENER Group in this crucial stage, which presents a significant and exciting challenge for engineering in the current global context,” Unda said. He received his degrees from the University of the Basque Country, the Higher School of Industrial Engineers of San Sebastian, and the University of Navarra. The SENER Group provides solutions for engineering, construction, aeronautics, energy, and the environment.
