Unilase Announces Industrial Laser Development
LONDON, June 6, 2016 — Laser developer Unilase Ltd. has announced the development and supply of diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers and amplifier modules for industrial manufacturing applications.
The company is steered by Founder and Chief Technology Officer Ara Minassian. Dennis Camilleri has joined the board as chief executive.

“We are confident that Unilase products will deliver significant technological advantage in a compact footprint that is becoming more critical in many industrial laser manufacturing applications,” Minassian said.
The company said its ability to provide customers with Q-switched, high-power and high-beam-quality laser sources with ultrawide pulse repetition rates will enable them to fulfill laser manufacturing requirements with fewer sources. The company also plans to launch standalone DPSS laser amplifier modules capable of taking output of low power seed lasers to tens of watts.
The company is currently testing prototypes prior to final manufacture and market launch.
