The CANopen LabView Library from National Instruments consists of LabView functions that convert high-speed NI Series 2 controller area network devices into functional CANopen master interfaces. It enables engineers to create industrial control and measurement applications with connectivity to such devices as motion drives, sensors and distributed I/O. They can use the graphical LabView application programming interface included in the library to create master applications that conform to the controller area network in the Automation (CiA) DS301 standard.
