Messe Stuttgart has announced that the VISION 2020 trade show will not take place. The organizers made the announcement to exhibitors July 7 after extensive talks.

“In the discussions held, it became apparent that VISION cannot be held this year with the usual quality, particularly due to the high international character of the event, combined with the continuing travel restrictions,” Florian Niethammer, project manager of VISION, said.

A survey was started to respond to the needs of the industry and to derive suitable measures.

“It is important for us to find out more about the impacts of the cancellation of VISION on exhibitors and visitors and their respective business; therefore, we are gathering specific feedback and call on everyone to actively contribute,” Niethammer said.

The VISION team aims to develop appropriate formats from the results of the survey and to announce the date of the next VISION soon.
