In Plainview, N.Y., Veeco Instruments Inc. has introduced the Veeco Labs Research Grant Program, which will sponsor selected early adopters of the company’s current and future technologies to enable the realization of their proposed work. The first grant will be awarded to five submissions that use the HarmoniX nanoscale material property mapping mode, and entries will be judged on creativity, scientific merit and applicability to real-world challenges.
