YieldWerx Deploys Software At Azoteq

DALLAS, Dec. 5, 2016 — Software developer YieldWerx has deployed its semiconductor yield management solution at semiconductor developer Azoteq Pty Ltd. for yield and test management needs, helping them to achieve 98 percent yield at final test level while reducing time to market products.

Azoteq is generating test data of >1 GB in volume from its various test houses and sites, assembly sites and foundries that are collectively processing around 20,000 dies of significant yield dependency daily. The analytical and reporting capabilities of YieldWerx has helped Azoteq in achieving 98 percent yield at the final test level and 95 percent yield at the wafer sort level, thereby resulting in improved yield management capabilities. YieldWerx has further supported Azoteq by optimizing their test times, reducing equipment related errors and helping bring products to market.

“YieldWerx is playing an important part in helping us achieve up to 98 percent yield at final test,” said Dr. Mladen Božanic, senior IC design engineer at Azoteq. “We use it daily at Azoteq and apart from data analysis it helps us in identifying systematic equipment issues as well; one device was hitting low current and we marked it as failed die, but YieldWerx helped us in identifying that the issue is with the tester and not the die.”

Azoteq is a fabless semiconductor company, providing intelligent LED lighting control and capacitive proximity and touch applications for next-generation user interfaces. YieldWerx provides yield management software for semiconductor manufacturers.
