The Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 camera lens for mirrorless system cameras has been named European Compact System Lens of the Year by The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). “We wanted to open up entirely new creative possibilities for photographers that use mirrorless cameras,” said Martin Dominicus of Zeiss Camera Lenses. The lens features interchangeable autofocus lenses comprising the extreme wide-angle Touit 2.8/12 and the standard Touit 1.8/32 for Fujifilm X and Sony NEX cameras. The award recognizes innovative technology, high-quality performance and design, and entries are judged by a jury of editors-in-chief of leading photography journals in Europe.
