MIDDLEFIELD, Conn., March 16 -- Zygo Corp. is planning a series of initiatives that it says will revitalize the company and provide the infrastructure needed for growth. Zygo will create three US business centers--in Sunnyvale, Calif., Chicago, IL, and Middlefield, Conn.--and establish a worldwide technical support center (in Middlefield).
Internationally, Zygo's Syncotec subsidiary in Asslar, Germany, will become the European center. Zygo Singapore Pte will be responsible for the Pacific Rim, excluding Japan, where the company plans to open a facility.
