A long-term partnership between austriamicrosystems AG of Unterpremstätten, Austria, and Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. of Malvern, Pa., has resulted in an agreement in which the Austrian manufacturer of analog integrated chips will supply its optical interface readout chips for use in Siemens’ Somatom Definition computed tomography system.
