The uEye EVS camera line from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH in collaboration with Prophesee SA are industrial cameras that incorporate the Prophesee-Sony IMX636HD event-based vision sensor for industrial machine vision applications. The cameras do not capture every image completely at regular frames but only react to changes within a scene, transmitting events depending on when and where the brightness in its field of view changes for each individual sensor pixel. The uEye EVS camera line can capture a minimum measurable time difference between two successive changes in brightness at less than 100 µs and is supported by Prophesee’s Metavision SDK.
