FARMINGTON, Conn., July 9, 2025 — TRUMPF Inc. named Daniel Pfisterer product manager of TruPunch and TruMatic products, and appointed Steffen Sickinger as western states manager and director of the TRUMPF Inc. Technology Center in California.

WOBURN, Mass. — Innovations in Optics Inc. (IOI), a company that offers LED light sources for scientific and industrial applications, promoted two senior staff members to key roles. The company appointed Joe Chevalier, formerly vice president of manufacturing and operations at IOI, president, and David Pierce, previously principal optical systems engineer, director of engineering.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Marvel Fusion, a laser fusion company, appointed Puja Gupta executive vice president. Gupta will oversee the company's U.S. operations. She has two decades of experience in nuclear technologies and recently served as deputy director of business development at General Atomics Global Corporation.

NEUSS, Germany — Mitutoyo Corporation, a metrology company headquartered in Japan, appointed Ray Penny president of Mitutoyo Europe. Penny has worked at Mitutoyo since 1986, and most recently served as managing director of Mitutoyo UK. As the president of Mitutoyo Europe, Penny has responsibility over Mitutoyo’s presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. — Medical technology company, ViaLase, announced changes to its executive leadership team as the company prepares for commercial launch and regulatory approvals in both the U.S. and Europe. Tibor Juhasz, founder and former CEO, transitioned to the role of president and CTO. Shawn O’Neil, most recently CCO, has been appointed CEO. The company appointed Pete England to CCO.

LONDON — Quantum computing company, ORCA Computing, appointed Erik Langaker chairman of the board. Langaker has held senior executive and non-executive roles in several technology and industrial companies, including CMR Surgical and his current position as chair at Pragmatic Semiconductor.

ESPOO, Finland — SemiQon, a quantum hardware company, appointed Antti Vasara, former CEO of Finland’s VTT Technical Research Centre, chair of its board to lead international expansion and commercialization efforts. Vasara brings decades of experience in tech leadership and EU innovation policy, with past roles at VTT, Nokia, and as president of EARTO. This appointment will help SemiQon scale its silicon-based quantum chips into market-ready solutions.

RALEIGH, N.C. — LUMEOVA, a wireless photonics communications company, appointed Shankaran Janardhanan to its advisory board. Janardhanan has more than 20 years of leadership at GlobalFoundries (GF) and Tower Semiconductor and currently serves as senior vice president of the radio frequency product line at GF. Prior to GF, he held various roles in design engineering, technology, and product management for radio frequency and microelectromechanical systems products at Tower Semiconductor.

IGERSHEIM, Germany — WITTENSTEIN SE, a robotics, machine tools, and aerospace company, named Christian Zeidlhack chief market officer and appointed him to the executive board. Zeidlhack began his professional career at the Daimler Group and joined the Schaeffler Group in 2007.
