HiPe SenS 640 SWIR Camera

The HiPe SenS 640 is an air-cooled SWIR camera engineered to meet the demanding needs of biomedical researchers who must capture extremely low-light signals with long, stable exposures. With an exposure range from 10 μs to 112 s, the camera excels in applications such as deep-tissue imaging, fluorescence signal detection, and long-integration microscopy where sensitivity is critical.
Delivering sensor noise below 40 e- and a dark current of less than 1500 e-/pixel/s at -20 °C, the HiPe SenS 640 provides exceptionally clean data even during extended acquisition. Its TEC2 + fan air-cooled mode maintains -20 °C FPA temperature without external, without the need for external cooling systems — an advantage for labs seeking high performance without added system complexity or thermal infrastructure.
The VGA-format detector (640 × 512 pixels, 15 μm pixel pitch) offers high spatial resolution suitable for in vivo imaging platforms, micro-optics setups, and custom detection modules. Integrated Bad Pixel Replacement and Non-Uniformity Correction ensure consistently uniform images, supporting quantitative workflows common in life science experiments.
Designed with a compact footprint and USB 3.0/Camera Link interfaces, the HiPe SenS 640 integrates seamlessly with microscope benches, optical tables, and research instrumentation. Its combination of long-exposure capability, low noise, and fully air-cooled thermal stability makes it a compelling tool for laboratories advancing SWIR imaging in biology and medicine.
The HiPe SenS 640 serves a broad spectrum of biophotonics applications, including in vivo SWIR imaging, fluorescence tracking, contrast-agent evaluation, tissue analysis, and biomedical device development.
