The Power Technology ILC Pulser series delivers a high-performance lineup of pulsed laser diode modules. Offering wavelengths from 465 nm to 1550 nm and peak pulse powers from 1.5 W to 150 W, these pulsed laser modules are designed for versatility, precision, and reliability. Features include tight pulse-to-pulse power consistency with ±0.5% drift per °C, as well as optional collimating optics to deliver optimized beam profiles. Additionally, the ILC offers adjustable pulse width, rate, and power for flexible use.
In the paper titled “Stable Droplet Generator for a High Brightness Laser Produced Plasma Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Source” (Vinokhodov et al., 2016), the IL30C pulsed laser served as a stroboscopic backlight to illuminate and capture high-speed images of liquid metal droplets in flight. By emitting short, intense pulses, the IL30C “freezes” the droplet at precise intervals—enabling accurate measurement of droplet size, velocity, and positioning.
