AlumiBlack™ from KUPO Optics turns glass into an optical black hole, swallowing stray photons for razor-sharp, high-contrast projection. A dense sputtered black-aluminium layer drives visible transmission below 0.1 %, making it ideal for premium glass gobos, shutter masks, and any system where “no light means NO light.” Unlike steel gobos, it pairs extreme absorption with glass’s thermal stability, so patterns stay crisp under arc-lamp or LED engines.
Each batch passes MIL-M-13508C humidity, adhesion, and abrasion tests, keeping the coating bonded through heat cycles and solvent cleans. Substrate choices fit any budget: soda-lime (1.1–2.9 mm, 150 °C), D263T borosilicate (0.21–0.55 mm, 450 °C), and Corning Eagle XG (0.7–1.1 mm, 450 °C).
