Broadband mirrors are multilayer dielectric mirrors designed to provide and average reflectance of at least 99 percent over a broad spectral range and angle of incidence. They use high quality UV fused silica or BK7 substrates and can be used with high power argon, Nd:YAG, or excimer lasers as well as with broadband or multispectral sources.
