The Saturn 9B optical scanner is specifically designed to move large beam diameters quickly, over a wide angle. Applications include very high power laser entertainment displays and autonomous driving. It is capable of moving a 10 mm beam through an optical angle of 40° at a frequency of over 500 Hz with a sinusoidal drive. Step response times can be lower than 300 µs.
