High-speed, low-dark-current, low-capacitance indium gallium arsenide FD80 Series photodiodes with space-saving surface-mount packaging. Ultracompact ceramic fiber pigtail photodiodes are specially designed for extremely tight spaces and ideal for high-speed communication systems. The planar-passivated device with 80-μm active area on a horizontal- or vertical-mount S8 ceramic package can be coupled directly to a single- or multimode pigtail fiber.
