MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 2, 2025 — Lightmatter, a photonic supercomputing company, has added Jason Zander to its board of directors. Zander brings decades of experience leading engineering and sales field organizations, and currently serves as leader of Microsoft’s strategic missions and technologies division.

BIEL, Switzerland — Laser-focused subsidiary LASEA Switzerland has appointed Christophe Seuret as head of the company. Seuret has 25 years of experience in the sectors of microtechnology, luxury goods, and electronics, having most recently been in charge of commercial and technological development at Pink Engineering Sarl.

DURHAM, N.C. — Wolfspeed, Inc., a silicon carbide technology developer, has added Robert Feurle as CEO, effective May 1. Feurle will succeed Thomas Werner, who is serving as interim executive chairman and will return as chairman of the board following the transition. Feurle has spent more than 20 years leading global organizations. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and general manager of the Opto Semiconductors Business Unit at ams-OSRAM AG.

LINDENHURST, N.Y. — Digital infrastructure developer TiniFiber has appointed Chris Pegge as vice president of sales. Pegge has nearly 40 years of technical and sales leadership in the fiber optic industry, having held key roles at KITCO Fiber Optics, Marmon Aerospace & Defense, Stran Technologies, and General Cable.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Imperx, a provider of ruggedized cameras for machine vision, has appointed Arie Kaplan as director of business development. Kaplan has extensive technical and market expertise in imaging, lasers, and optics. He has held key roles at leading companies such as Boeing, DRS, and Coherent as well as smaller organizations.

TEMECULA, Calif. — Integrated silicon photonics and silicon nanostructures company Skorpios Technologies has added Gunter Reiss as chief revenue officer. Reiss previously led growth initiatives at DZS Inc., A10 Networks, Ericsson, and DAMOVO, and served on the Skorpios board.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — SkyWater Technology, a semiconductor manufacturer, has appointed Timothy E. Baxter, Tammy J. Miller, and Andrew D.C. LaFrence to its board of directors, while Gary Obermiller, who has served as SkyWater’s chair since the company’s founding in 2017, will be retiring upon the conclusion of the annual meeting on May 21. Baxter will become the new board chair and is currently serving in leadership positions on the boards of Breville Holdings Ltd., First Orion Corp., Alliance Mobile, and VueReal Inc. Miller is the former lieutenant governor of North Dakota and served as the COO of the Governor’s Office of the State of North Dakota and CEO and chair of the board of directors of Border States Electric. LaFrence currently serves as CFO and senior vice president of finance at Nortech Systems Incorporated and a board member of American National Bank.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Sensing and perception systems company Aeva has added Katherine Motlagh to its board of directors. Motlagh currently serves on the board of Crown Castle Inc., where she serves on the finance and audit committees as well as on the board of EVgo, Inc., where she serves as audit committee chair and member of the compensation and nominating and governance committees. Previously, she held finance leadership roles as executive vice president and CFO of CyrusOne LLC.

IRVINE, Calif. — Infinite Electronics, a provider of electronic components and connectivity solutions, has appointed J. Lindsley Ruth as president and CEO, succeeding Penny Cotner, who has decided to step down as CEO after 12 years with the company. With over 30 years of global leadership experience, Ruth was most recently CEO of RS Group plc.

HOBOKEN, N.J. — Integrated photonics and quantum optics technology company Quantum Computing Inc. has added Eric Schwartz to its board of directors. Schwartz has two decades of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy. Since 2016, he has served as managing director at Castle Harlan and currently serves on the boards of Sunless and Titan Production Equipment.
