AccuFiz® D 600 mm interferometerDynamic, on-axis AccuFiz® D Fizeau interferometer with 600 mm beam expander measures large flat optics instantaneously, eliminating the need for controls on vibration or turbulence. On-axis measurement provides highest accuracy, and fast averaging, without the need for calculating retrace error subtractions. Short coherence surface separation technology isolates parallel surfaces — whether flat or concentric spheres — that are as close as 200 microns to each other.

In an assembled optical system measure each surface independently. Easily evaluate homogeneity. Measure thickness across an optic by subtracting front and back surfaces. Instantaneously obtain transmitted wavefront error (TWE) through an optical system up to 600 mm in diameter. Kinematic mounts for the interferometer’s mainframe means you can easily remove the interferometer from the beam expander, use it for smaller aperture measurements, then set it back into the mount for ready-to-go alignment.

AccuFiz D 600 mm is the industry’s first dynamic on-axis Fizeau of this beam size. The compact and rigid beam expander is the lightest of its kind, making it relatively easy to move and install the system. Save on installation and rigging costs. High accuracy measurements without a vibration dampening table — or vibrationally locking the test optic to the interferometer — saves capital costs in lab setup requirements.
