Abrisa Technologies has announced Asahi Glass Corp. EN-A1 Alkali-Free Boro-Aluminosilicate glass for applications such as sensitive bio-photo detection, high-throughput sensors, image sensor windows, biosensors, enhancement glass for thin displays, cover glass for micro arrays and low weight, reduced profile designs. <br><br>The EN-A1 glass features high transmittance of 400 to 2300 nm, good chemical resistance, a coefficient of thermal expansion and low fluorescence at genomic excitation wavelengths. EN-A1 is available in sheet sizes of up to 25 &times; 20 in. and can be ordered in standard thicknesses of 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7 mm.Abrisa Technologies has announced Asahi Glass Corp.
