Goldeye G-008 SWIR Camera
Allied Vision’s Goldeye G-008 short-wave infrared (SWIR) camera is the newest camera in the Goldeye series. The Goldeye G-008 uses a QVGA InGaAs (320 x 256 pixels, 30 µm pixel size) sensor which makes it sensitive in the SWIR spectrum ranging from 900 to 1,700 nm. In addition, the smaller imager aids in significantly reducing the Goldeye G-008’s cost compared to existing VGA resolution models. This allows infrared imaging to become affordable for many cost-sensitive applications such as plastics sorting for recycling purpose or environmental analysis, high-temperature thermography in the steel and glass industries or laser beam profiling.
