Basler AG has announced the ace U and ace L CMOS cameras with high values for dynamic range, dark noise and quantum efficiency in low-light and high-speed applications.
The ace U cameras with the innovative back-illuminated Sony IMX178 or IMX226 STARVIS sensors feature high light sensitivity, low dark noise of three electrons, and high quantum efficiency of more than 80 percent. The eight rolling-shutter models are a great fit for low-light applications such as manual light or fluorescence microscopy and some electronics assembly operations.
The ace L cameras with Sony IMX253, IMX255, IMX267 or IMX304 Pregius sensors are ideal for highly demanding applications where high resolution and high speed are required, such as automated optical systems for display inspection or intelligent transportation enforcement systems. The 12 global-shutter models provide 9- and 12-MP resolutions, up to 42 fps frame rates, a dynamic range of more than 70 dB and a high quantum efficiency.
