Sep 2019WOBURN, Mass., Sept. 23, 2019 — The PackFlow packaging inspection suite from BitFlow Inc. improves packaging industry inspection of materials printed on high-speed web presses.

The PackFlow bundle features line-scan cameras, BitFlow Axion-CL 2xE frame grabbers, software, and LED illuminators. It enables a vision inspection system to be installed on a new or in-operation printing press using standard hardware. Quality checks are made at the full speed of the production line.

Its BitFlow Axion-CL 2xE frame grabber is based on the Camera Link 2.0 specification. A StreamSync Direct Memory Access engine and buffer manager prevents overloading of the CPU with image transfer operations, and a PCIe Gen 2 expansion bus delivers high-speed access to host memory. It supports base, medium, full, or 80-bit Camera Link cameras, as well as area, line scan, color, and monochrome cameras.More products
