sglux GmbH’s SG03 line of UV silicon carbide (SiC) detectors from Boston Electronics Corp. is tailored to applications that require wavelength detection down to 170 nm.

Using advanced semiconductor processing, the production-ready SiC detectors are designed for vacuum UV and deep-UVC applications. Applications include use with excimer lasers for curing and processing, detection for new disinfecting systems, and low-pressure Hg lamp monitoring used for total organic carbon reduction and water purification.
