CODIXX is a German company with more than 20 years of experience as a manufacturer of high transmittance polarizers.

Our colorPol® polarizers are available in a wide range of spectral characteristics covering UV (340 – 420 nm) to Vis, NIR and MIR (440 – 5,000 nm) region. High transmittance of over 96% (with antireflection coating) are provided. colorPol® polarizers made of glass are a durable choice:
  • they are thin like foil polarizers (0.2 – 0.5 mm, more options are realizable by laminating)
  • can be handled like glass or silicon wafers
  • have resistance to UV radiation and most chemicals
  • have wide acceptance angle for incident radiation
  • operate in temperatures of -50 °C to +400 °C
colorPol® polarizers are produced to meet customers´ requirements:
  • specific wavelength of maximum polarization
  • various shapes and sizes from 1.0 × 1.0 mm² to 100.0 × 60.0 mm²
  • AR coatings as V-coating or wide-band version for individual wavelength
  • patterned polarizers with segments of different size, shape, and number for distinctive polarization axis or wavelength range
Special polarizers like the colorPol® IR 1310 BC 4 HT, colorPol® 1490 BC4 HT and colorPol® IR 1550 BC4 match the important wavelength ranges in optical isolators. Other applications for our polarizers are optical sensor devices, instrumental filters for laboratory equipment, photo elasticity, surface inspection, and many more.
