Mar 2021SAXONBURG, Pa., March 19, 2021 — Laser materials processing and semiconductor company II-VI Inc. opened an applications laboratory in Suzhou, China. The new lab supports the growing industrial laser market in the region, fueled in part by new welding requirements of the automotive industry in light of developments in electric vehicles.
As of press-time, II-VI is in consideration to acquire Coherent Inc.
