Every pE-4000 boasts 16 selectable LED sources arranged conveniently in 4 channels, using our patented wavelength grouping concept. This offers undeniable flexibility now and for the future without the lifetime or safety issues sometimes associated with laser-based illumination. Whether you are using Olympus CellSens, Leica LAS X, NIS Elements, ZEN blue or many other microscopy imaging software packages the pE-4000 offers precise control.

When your work demands even faster speeds, excitation filter holders, multi-channel TTL and analogue inputs further extend the usage scenarios; Accurately synchronise your illumination with your other hardware for maximum speed with minimum sample photobleaching. Utilise pinkel filter sets without the need for “slow” filter wheels, registration issues or resultant vibration. Connect to your electrophysiology rig to drive optogenetic stimulation including ramped or more sophisticated approaches via the analogue inputs. Utilise the TTL outputs to loop back and track the light input vs your data.
