Optical Thin Films on Complex Substrate Geometries Enabled by Enhanced Deposition Technology

Author: Evan Craves and David McLean Wednesday, April 15, 2020
This whitepaper explains DSI’s low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) called IsoDyn, which specifically addresses the production of thin films on highly curved optics. These can be difficult or impossible to manufacture using other methods. The unique aspect of the LPCVD process is its capability to uniformly coat all surfaces, even the most complex shapes, with a high quality multi-layer optical coating. If you have an upcoming project that requires conformal coatings, please contact us.
