Diffraction Limited develops, manufactures, and markets scientific imaging products under the SBIG and Cyanogen Imaging brands.

Our cooled camera product lines include the compact STF series, which are widely used in OEM applications including research and medical instruments. The high performance small format Aluma series are typically used in astronomical research and education at colleges and universities. The large format STX and STXL cameras are used for astronomical research and imaging. Sensor offerings include front-illuminated full frame and interline CCD, back-illuminated CCD, EMCCD, and sCMOS.

Other imaging products include MaxIm DL astronomical image capture, analysis, and processing software; MaxPoint telescope modelling software, Quick Fringe interferogram analysis software, filter wheels, adaptive optics accessories, autoguiders, dome control systems, and rain/cloud sensors for observatory protection and automated observation scheduling.

Our in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities allow us to provide full custom and semi-custom camera hardware and software solutions.
