ECOPTIK, formerly BRD Optical, was founded in 2004, and is located in the city of Changchun – the optic base of China – with beautiful views and profound optical culture. We have state-of-the-art, modern technology machines for manufacturing and inspecting all kinds of precision optics. Our company occupies an area of 5600 square meters, supported by 100 workers, including three technical engineers and two dedicated optical engineers.

In the aspect of technology, we benefit from the backbone of Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Changchun University of Science and Technology. We also usually make technical exchanges with each other. Referring to the manufacture equipment and checking equipment of products, most of them are adopted from abroad including coating machine, sphericity interferometer, optical spherometer and others. They can detect the optical components exactly and increase the production levels.

Types of Custom Glass:
Cylindrical Lens
A cylindrical optical lens is typically used to focus, condense or expand incoming light. A cylindrical lens has one cylindrical surface, causing light to be focused in a single dimension or axis. It can also be used to expand the output of a laser diode into a symmetrical beam. Cylinder lenses are technically more difficult to manufacture than spherical or flat lenses which is why Ecoptik uses state-of-the-art polishing techniques alongside stringent lens assessment to manufacture each lens.
Prism
Optical Prism, a transparent object surrounded by two planes that intersect but are not parallel to each other, is used to split light or disperse light beams. An optical prism is a polyhedron made of transparent materials (such as optical glass prism, optical crystal prism, etc.). It is widely used in optical instruments. Prisms can be divided into several types according to their properties and uses. For example, the "dispersion prism" that decomposes the composite light into the spectrum in a spectroscopic instrument, the more commonly used is an equilateral prism; in a periscope, binocular telescope and other instruments, the direction of light is changed to adjust its imaging position. "Reflecting prisms" generally use right-angle prisms. Visible Dome
Our transparent glass dome lens is composed of two parallel optical surfaces, (a convex surface & a concave surface). Normally we can control the parallel tolerance <±2 μm. A perfect parallel surface, in the imaging, the image does not distort, and in the measurement of light, the light does not distort. Optical Dome, the optical properties are unique, which produced by the optical technology of optical grinding and polishing.
