3 Lasers IN-ONE – FISBA READYBeam™ in Life Sciences
Friday, June 12, 2020
The FISBA READYBeam™ easily integrates into your set-up or instrument. Light-sheet Fluorescence Microscopy or Selective Plane Illumination (SPIM) enables high resolution imaging of large biological samples in three dimensions. Although the very early origins of optical sectioning microscopy date back almost 120 years ago, the commercialization and more widespread applications of SPIM have taken place in the last 20 years. The technique depends on narrow band laser excitation.
The picture shows GFP-labeled neurons in a cleared mouse brain imaged with a FISBA READYBeam™ module at 488 nm, integrated in a mesoSPIM light-sheet microscope (mesospim.org). The sample was prepared by Yasir Gallero-Salas and imaged by Fabian Voigt, Laboratory of Neural Circuit Dynamics – Prof. Fritjof Helmchen, Brain Research Institute, University of Zurich, Switzerland. Download the READYBeam™ data sheet and connect with us to start a project or to ask a question.
