Walt Czajkowski Named US Managing Director for Fisba

Dec 2015ST. GALLEN, Switzerland, Jan. 1, 2016 — Optical systems manufacturer Fisba AG has chosen Walt Czajkowski as the managing director of its U.S. subsidiary in Tucson, Ariz.

Czajkowski has held a variety of positions within the optical manufacturing industry, including work with R&D, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, manufacturing supervision and project management. He was also a vice president of worldwide optics operations.

His appointment follows the 2014 launch of a collaborative project with Edmund Optics Inc. for the development of precision molding of IR optics based on chalcogenide glass materials. Czajkowski launched the starting phase and has taken a leading role in promoting the collaboration.

Fisba develops and manufactures lenses, laser modules, micro-optics and advanced optical components for industrial applications.More news & features
