Oct 2018The FCB-ER8530 and FCB-ER8550 Sony industrial 4K functional camera blocks have been announced by FRAMOS Technologies Inc.

Providing quad full HD (QFHD) resolution video from an 8.5-MP back-illuminated image sensor for high clarity and detail in applications for situational awareness, surveillance, video sharing, remote learning, and content development in full 4K, the compact cameras offer electronic image stabilization, improved nighttime performance, and up to 30× equivalent optical zoom.

The high image quality of both camera blocks starts with a 1/2.5 type Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor with a pixel array of 3840 × 2160 QFHD, complemented by Sony image processing and lensing. Each model supports electronic image stabilization to avoid artifacts resulting from sustained rough shaking or vibrations in moving applications.More products
