Flash Photonics Introduction
NIRONE Sensor XFlash Photonics designs, manufactures, and distributes cutting-edge optical sensing technologies. We specialize in UV, VIS, NIR, and THz spectroscopies, atomic force microscopy (AFM), trace gas detection, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), optomechanics, and Raman spectroscopy. We also offer components, lab electronics, LEDs, and lasers.

Atomic Force Microscopes
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) enables atomic-level (10 nm) measurements of material topography, conductivity, elasticity, adhesion, hardness, frictional forces, and thermal properties. Researchers use AFM to study biological samples; advanced material such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, and GaN; and novel surface properties. Flash offers systems by Nanonics Imaging including the Hydra-Bio AFM, the MultiView 4000, and the SpectraView 2500.

Lasers and LEDS
IRISFlash provides light sources including lasers and LEDs for research labs, OEM integration, and manufacturing. Our lasers from Innovative Photonic Solutions are great for Raman spectroscopy, metrology, and interferometry. Our Picoyune LeRoy LEDs are perfect for fluorescence spectroscopy, viewing fluorescent tags in biological samples, monitoring biochemical reactions, and measuring compounds and molecules in a solution.

Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) Systems
Flash offers LIBS systems and software from AtomTrace, SPECTRAL Industries, and TSI. These LIBS systems require very little sample preparation, are relatively non-destructive, and can be used to quickly and easily identify the chemical composition of an unknown sample. We’ve been working with LIBS for over 20 years!

General Spectrometers
Flash sells UV-VIS-IR spectrometers from Spectral Engines, Custom Sensors and Technology (CS&T), SPECTRAL Industries, and Wasatch Photonics. Customers include those involved in academic research, field research, OEM instrumentation, and manufacturing.
Optical Probes, Fibers, and Flow Cells
Our industrial flow-cells and probes by Custom Sensors & Technology, probes by MarqMetrix, and fibers from Gulf Photonics pair beautifully with our spectrometers. We have affordable options, many with special bulk pricing. Customization is also available upon request.

Optomechanical Hardware
3DOptix optomechanical kits and components allow you to build advanced optical instruments and simplify alignment in the optics lab. 3DOptix components synchronize all objects to a three-dimensional grid. The BreadBox is the evolved form of a traditional optical breadboard and allows you to build experiments horizontally and vertically, above the optical table. This is a great teaching tool for university optical labs and easily integrates into OEM platforms.

Photoacoustic Spectroscopy
The Gasera One uses photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) to analyze hydrocarbons, pollutants, industrial gasses, and medical gasses in the range of 1-50 ppb.

Photometers and Photodetectors
PX2plusFlash Photonic’s photometers and photodetectors are great for measuring absorbance and fluorescence and monitoring chemical processes. We sell photometers and photodetectors for research and manufacturing by Resolved Instruments and Custom Sensors & Technology.

Raman Spectroscopy Systems
Flash Photonics offers high-end and affordable Raman spectrometers, Raman lasers, Raman fiber optics, Raman probes, full Raman systems, and fluorescence-minimizing Raman instruments by TimeGate, Wasatch Photonics, MarqMetrix, and TSI. Modular and custom Raman configurations are available.
