Timegated Raman spectroscopy is suitable for online measurements for nitric and sulfuric acid quantification. It has many advantages compared to conventional acid quantification methods., for example, it is fast, only a minimal amount of sample preparation is required, it increases measurement reliability by minimizing background interference including photoluminescence, room lighting, and thermal emission interference, and it is well-suited for working with aqueous solutions.
