The HSML-E line of compact laser diode line modules from Frankfurt Laser Co. deliver an ultra-thin line.
The laser head and laser driver are separated, allowing for a compact laser head size of Ø12.6 × 44 mm. The laser driver is 200 mm away from the laser head with dimensions of Ø12.6 × 40 mm, and it can be operated at 24 V. The beam line can be focused to a thickness of 10 µm at a 40-mm distance. Standard fan angles are 10° to 90°. The wavelength range is from 405 to 1060 nm with output powers of up to 50 mW.
The modules are also offered with potentiometer for power adjustment, external TTL modulation of up to 1 MHz, and analogue modulation of up to 100 kHz. The housing is electrically isolated and satisfies the IP67 protection class, making the modules ideal for use in industrial applications with harsh environmental conditions. The major applications are machine vision, scanning, profiling, and laser triangulation.
