The 5-MP Phoenix
™ and Triton
™ polarization cameras from LUCID Vision Labs Inc. feature Sony’s Polarsens
™ IMX264MZR/MYR CMOS sensors.
The device uses four different directional on-chip polarizing filters on every 2 × 2 array of pixels, allowing accurate alignment with the pixel array. Polarsens technology features global shutter read-out, high frame rates, region of interest control, and trigger modes to further improve image capture performance. All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by the Arena software development kit. Enhanced polarization functionality such as on-camera polarization processing and software visualization tools accelerate the development for polarized imaging applications.
The cameras enhance inspection and classification capabilities in industrial applications.
