In this white paper, Dr. Iain Johnson, Lumencor’s Director of Technical Support, tests Lumencor’s laser-based CELESTA Light Engine for consistency, power, and stability using continuous wave illumination, pulsed illumination, and time-lapse imaging. By understanding the performance and limitations of such a turn-key illumination tool, microscopists using CELESTA Light Engines may design experimental protocols which maximize illumination and imaging performance using operating conditions that best suit their experimental needs.
