Meller Sapphire Lenses, Windows, and Domes feature Mohs 9 hardness, which is second only to diamond. They are chemically inert, impervious to water and fast-moving dirt and sand, and can withstand temps up to 1000 °C and pressures up to 10,000 psi. They are ideally suited for protecting cameras, detectors, sensors, and telescopes in outer space.
