New Imaging Technologies (NIT), part of the Lynred group, is a French company specialized in the design and manufacture of SWIR InGaAs sensors and cameras. Fully Made in France, NIT controls the entire development process in-house—from ROIC (Readout Integrated Circuit) design to sensor fabrication and complete camera engineering—ensuring top-tier performance and quality.

NIT offers a wide product range, including line-scan and area-scan SWIR cameras, covering resolutions from qVGA to Full HD. Notably, NIT is the only EU company to offer a Full HD SWIR sensor with 8 µm pixel pitch, setting a new standard for resolution and compactness in the market.

NIT cameras are engineered for best-in-class performance, featuring ultra-low noise levels (as low as 25e-), High Sensitivity, and High-Speed imaging—up to 1,000 Hz at full frame and 10,000 Hz in ROI mode. The proprietary High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology delivers up to 120 dB, making NIT’s solutions ideal for scenes with extreme light variations.

Designed for the most demanding industrial, scientific, photonics and defense, surveillance applications, NIT’s cameras combine robust performance with flexible integration options, including OEM versions to meet specific customer needs. Industrial-grade interfaces ensure easy deployment across various platforms and environments.

With continuous innovation and a strong foundation in SWIR and HDR imaging, NIT stands out as a trusted European provider of high-performance imaging systems. Whether for laser profiling, semiconductor inspection, medical research, long-range surveillance and beyond, NIT delivers SWIR imaging solutions with unmatched reliability, precision, and performance.
