LED Luminaire Measurement System

Photonics Spectra
Nov 2016
Ophir Photonics Group LED Luminaire Measurement SystemOphir Photonics Group has announced the FluxGage LED luminaire measurement system.

The FluxGage system uses solar panels as the light detector, measuring flux, color and flicker to evaluate the performance of LED-based products. The all-in-one photometric test system uses 2 pi geometry. A spectrometer is incorporated for color measurement of the spectrum, correlated color temperature, color rendering index, deep UV and chromaticity. There is also a fast photodetector for flicker measurements. No fibers are needed.

The measurement system is three times smaller and lower cost than equivalent integrating sphere products and is designed for R&D use during development and production for incoming inspection and quality control of new and replacement parts.
