The AF-1100 Afocal Module and the OpTest^® Lens Platform together provide the two rotations required when measuring inverting and non-inverting afocal lenses. The lens under test is positioned on a rail so that the exit pupil coincides with an external aperture stop and decollimating lens over the AF-1100 rotation axis. Entrance pupil walk across the collimated beam is then minimized by setting the specified separation of the two rotary axes.
