ROCKLAND, Mass., Feb. 28, 2023 — Piezo Objective ScannerThe Nano Scan OP800 piezo objective scanner from Prior Scientific Inc. features a mechanical design and integral capacitive feedback for positioning accuracy.

Stiff construction allows the standard selectable tuning presets to support a range of objectives from 150 to 500 g in life sciences and industry applications. Its 800 µm of closed-loop travel range provides easy operation within the piezo focus range without adjusting the sample. Deeper Z-stacks are ideal for multiphoton imaging techniques, and auto-calibration on power-up automatically offsets the range to correct for load and environmental changes to maintain the full 800-µm travel. Applications include life sciences, materials, and semiconductor uses such as optical sectioning, surface analysis, wafer inspection, and scanning interferometry.
