When you need maximum flexibility for enclosing a laser work area, or need a temporary Class 1 laser safe work zone, choose movable laser barriers. Movable barriers are a great alternative to laser curtain systems and are available in Flex-Guard®, Ever-Guard®, and laser-safe acrylic. Laser barriers are constructed of rigid welded steel frames with pivoting, glow-in-the dark safety yellow cross braces supporting hooded and locking swivel casters. These laser screens can be used alone or used as partition walls by joining several together “daisy-chain” fashion using light blocker hinges constructed of the same material as the laser barrier.

Flex-Guard® laser curtains are constructed from heavy-duty, single layer fabrics with matte finish in either standard black color or our professional-looking “Tech Blue”. The materials are notable for flame retardance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and non-fraying characteristics. Laser safety curtain and laser barrier panels are individually sewn with heavy gauge monofilament threads. All seams are double stitched with back-stitched ends to improve strength and durability. Hems and seams are folded flat and pressed before stitching to ensure a “pucker-free” appearance.
