These plano-concave lenses are made from infrared grade calcium fluoride and are excellent for use with lasers emitting in the 2 - 5 micron range. They are supplied uncoated but antireflection coatings are available on request.

Calcium fluoride can be used for many applications, including vacuum ultraviolet, ultraviolet and infrared thermal imaging. Knight Optical has a vast stock catalogue of mounted bandpass filters with wavelengths ranging from 214nm to 2000nm CWL. Our filters have excellent out-of-band blocking of OD4 or OD5. The filters are CNC scribed and hermetically sealed within the mount for maximum long-term stability. Custom bandpass filters are also available to fit your spectral and dimensional requirements.

The G&H fused visible wavelength RGB (red, blue and green) polarization-maintaining (PM) 1×2 and 2×2 fiber optic couplers, taps and optical signal splitters offer high extinction ratio (ER) with polarization launch into a single or dual axis (slow axis and fast axis).

Ball lenses are completely spherical lenses most commonly used to couple light in and out of fibers. Half-ball lenses are hemispheres. We supply high precision grade-3 ball lenses, midrange grade-25 ball lenses and commercial grade-100 ball lenses offering all grades to suit any application. Material options: ruby, cubic zirconia, sapphire, ceramic (Al2 O2, ZrO2, SI3 N4), quartz.

Achromatic doublets/triplets consist of low-index, symmetrical convex crown glass elements which are cemented between identical high-index meniscus flint glass elements. These lenses are useful in axial imaging applications.

Standard MgF2 blanks for excimer laser with size Ø38.1*5.5 mm; Ø50*5.5 mm, Ø60*5.5 mm, and 65*40*3.5 mm. We also supply low stress birefringence max. <15 nm size of 30*30*50 mm and 45*45*50 mm, and 100 orientation for waveplate size from Ø5.0 to 100 mm. Our MgF2 material can apply for 121/157/193/248/305 nm. These material meet ROHS, accepting by USA, Germany, Japan, and Russia buyers.

The Nano-Bio Series are ultralow profile, two-axis piezo nanopositioning systems. The low profile design allows it to be easily integrated into existing inverted microscopes, AFMs and other instrumentation where space is limited. The large center aperture allows the Nano-Bio to accommodate the lenses of all major microscope manufacturers.

Optical isolators are a combination of a linear polarizer and a Quartz quarter wave retardation plate. These optical isolators are manufactured using a polarizing cube beamsplitter and a quartz quarter-wave plate. They are antireflection coated for the wavelength of interest.

Perkins Precision offers high energy, laser-line beamsplitter cubes. Our adhesive-free optical assembly process is ideal for applications where outgassing and laser damage threshold are primary concerns. These polarizing and dichroic cube beamsplitters utilize IBS coatings which result in high transmission, high extinction ratio and λ/10 wavefront quality.
