Dichroic Filters

Dichroic filters are optical filters designed to transmit light in a specific wavelength range while reflecting all other wavelengths. They are also referred to as thin-film or interference filters. These filters are usually positioned at a 45-degree angle to the light source. In this arrangement, blocked light is reflected at a 90-degree angle, while the desired wavelengths pass through.
